Katherine Leleu is a writer and proud fifth-generation Californian. She grew up in Southern California, holds a Bachelor’s degree from UCLA, and recently completed an MFA in creative writing from the University of San Francisco. Before pursuing writing full time, during the early days of e-commerce, she worked in the surf industry as a digital merchandiser and still enjoys going to the beach whenever possible. She writes fiction and non-fiction, centering on themes of grief, loss, love, growth, family, and friendship. She lives in the San Francisco Bay area with her husband and two cats.
